THE Securities Investors Association (Singapore), or Sias, and the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) have come together to produce a guide on best practices for shareholder meetings, in an attempt to represent the perspectives of both the investors, and the companies and their board directors, when it comes to such gatherings.
The 24-page publication, which was announced on Tuesday, covers key topics such as the rights of shareholders, as well as the rules of etiquette applicable to both shareholders and board chairmen.
