STATS ChipPac posts US$5.29m Q3 net loss

SEMICONDUCTOR packaging and test services provider STATS ChipPAC posted a net loss of US$5.29 million for the third quarter ended Sept 28, sinking into the red from a net profit of US$13.3 million a year ago.

Revenue edged up marginally to US$403.77 million, up from US$400.78 million in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. Loss per share worked out to US$0.00, versus earnings per share of US$0.01 previously.
