CBS's Q2 advertising sales up 4.3%, bucking trend

CBS Corp bucked the tough advertising climate that hit competitors, benefiting from its broadcast of college basketball's national finals.
Advertising sales at CBS rose 4.3 per cent in the second quarter, the owner of the most-watched US TV network said on Monday. That follows drops or underwhelming forecasts from Time Warner Inc, Sinclair Broadcasting and Viacom Inc.
