Protesters rally for higher US fast-food wages

Protesters in Miami, Florida on a National Day of Action on Nov 10. They are demanding steps from state legislators and presidential candidates to raise the minimum wage to US$15 an hour.

THOUSANDS of protesters took to the streets across the United States on Tuesday to demand a US$15-an-hour minimum wage and union rights for fast-food workers, a campaign intended to attract support from national political candidates ahead of the 2016 elections.
