A holistic approach to giving
"IN giving, we also receive" - that's something Singtel strongly believes in.
Over the past 15 years, through the Singtel Touching Lives Fund (STLF), the telco has contributed more than S$33 million in support of educational programmes for special needs children. Through annual events such as the Singtel Charity Golf, the company mobilises its partners and customers to raise funds for its STLF beneficiaries. Employees are also encouraged to organise fundraising activities for STLF beneficiaries, and organise activities with them.
The largest event is the annual Singtel Carnival, where close to 2,000 staff come together to organise a day of fun, food and games for over 1,000 students with special needs. The carnival not only provides a platform for staff to bond, but to also do good. Events like these help to foster awareness, collaboration and a culture of inclusion within the staff at Singtel.
