WITH keen competition for talent from the infocomm technology (ICT) sector, it is important to not lose sight of the importance of startups and SMEs as they are essential to ensure the ecosystem stays vibrant, said Manpower Minister Josephine Teo on Tuesday.
"We must acknowledge the fact that for larger companies, it is easier for them to be able to attract talents to work with them because the opportunities that they offer for professional growth, as well as the kinds of problems they solve is much broader in scale and scope," she said.
