Wan Azizah leads Cabinet in swearing-in ceremony
She also makes history as Malaysia's first woman deputy prime minister

DEPUTY Prime Minister Wan Azizah Wan Ismail led a line-up of 13 Cabinet ministers in taking their oath of office, loyalty and secrecy before Malaysian King Sultan Muhammad V at the Istana Negara on Monday. She is also the country's first female deputy prime minister.
The swearing-in, which took place at the Singgahsana Kecil (Minor Throne Room) of the palace, was witnessed by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. Also present was his wife, Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, the New Straits Times online portal reported.
