UK Prime Minister Theresa May is heading for a tough negotiating schedule with the European Union (EU) to achieve changes in the original Brexit agreement.
On the face of it Mrs May has won a victory. She now has a mandate from almost all Conservative MPs, Northern Ireland's Democrat Unionists and some Labour and independent MPs to go to Brussels and negotiate a better deal for the UK Parliament. The aim is to avoid a disruptive "no deal" crash out exit from the EU.
