FREELANCERS and gig workers welcome the new slew of support measures to help them ride out the Covid-19 economic storm, while also urging the authorities to make the administration process prompt and seamless.
Eligible individuals will receive a monthly cash payment of S$1,000 for nine months, under a new income relief scheme targeted at the self-employed, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat announced on Thursday.
