Booking.com settles pricing issues with France, Italy hotels

HOTEL reservation website Booking.com has agreed to allow hoteliers in France, Italy and Sweden to charge cheaper prices elsewhere after a spate of legal challenges, the French competition authority said on Tuesday.
Up to now, Booking.com has prevented hotels that use its service from charging cheaper rates on alternative sites, or to customers who book in person or by phone.
