China: Shares down 0.52% in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares eased 0.52 per cent on Monday morning as liquidity concerns overshadowed positive trade data over the weekend, dealers said.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 16.88 points to 3,224.31.

The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.52 per cent, or 8.60 points, to 1,643.17.
