Hong Kong: Stocks down at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks retreated in the first few minutes of trade Tuesday following the previous day's strong rally and despite a strong performance on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.18 per cent, or 41.98 points to 23,562.10.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, inching down 0.28 points to 3,127.97 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was marginally higher, adding 0.96 points to 2,071.17.
