Hong Kong: Stocks end lower
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended slightly lower on Wednesday after two days of healthy gains, with investors brushing off news that US tax cuts had passed a Senate vote and were close to being signed off.
The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.07 per cent, or 19.57 points, to close at 29,234.09.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.27 per cent, or 8.93 points, to 3,287.61. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.74 per cent, or 14.10 points, to end at 1,891.52.
