Hong Kong: Stocks flat at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares opened flat on Tuesday following the previous day's gains and losses on Wall Street, while investors await the release of US manufacturing data.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index dipped 9.83 points to 24,484.68.
In mainland China, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.16 per cent, or 5.92 points, to 3,681.81.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.46 per cent, or 8.83 points, to 1,912.47.
