Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.72 points to 1,598.17 at 9am.
Volume was 39.08 million lots worth RM11.38 million.
Gainers beat losers 92 to 38.
