Malaysia: Shares open slightly higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices open slightly higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.83 points to 1776.89.

Volume was 42.23 million lots worth RM18.14 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 87 to 52.
