Singapore shares close 0.1% down on Monday
SINGAPORE stocks finished 0.1 per cent lower on Monday, with the Straits Times Index losing 2.3 points to 2,875.32.
The bluechip index was flat in light trading over the holiday season.
About 628.6 million shares worth S$419.9 million in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.67 per share.
The most actively traded counter was Terratech, which rose S$0.003 to S$0.061 with 32.1 million shares changing hands. Other actives included Rex International and Geo Energy Resources.
Losers outnumbered gainers 222 to 168, or about four down for every three up.
