HTC founder Wang takes over as CEO amid shrinking market share

HTC Corp chairwoman Cher Wang has taken over the role of chief executive officer, replacing Peter Chou after three years of declining sales at the Taiwanese smartphone maker.
Mr Chou, who also held the title of president, will remain at the company in a new role as head of the HTC Future Development Lab, the company said in a statement on Friday.
