The Covid-19 pandemic has forced many institutions to either look for the first time at delivering their training online or significantly ramping up existing distance learning programmes.
Ships' officers, and indeed almost all seafarers, must take periodic refresher courses in various areas. Some of the many new online/distance learning courses have responded to this need.
