PLANE-MAKER Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp has inked a letter of intent (LOI) with US-based Aerolease Aviation for up to 20 MRJ90 aircraft, making Aerolease the first lessor to order the jets.
A definitive agreement is expected to be signed next month, while Florida-headquartered Aerolease will take delivery from 2018. The LOI for 10 jets, with options for 10 more, was inked on Tuesday morning as the Singapore Airshow kicked off.
