Arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, the Business Suites offer will fully flat beds and direct aisle access. The first domestic route to see the new cabin product will be between the east coast and Perth in late December, while the upgraded A330s will start flying internationally from January next year.

Meanwhile, economy cabins on Qantas's all international A330s will also be outfitted with the airline's next-generation model of the Recaro seat, which has been popular with passengers on its A380 and refurbished Boeing 747 aircraft. Singapore is one of the routes on which Qantas at present deploys its A330s.
