SIA, Lufthansa ink extensive partnership
They'll cooperate in key markets in Europe, S-E Asia and Australia; SIA passengers will gain access to over 20 new codeshare European routes

SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) and Lufthansa will operate major routes between Singapore and Europe on a joint-venture basis, under a wide-ranging partnership which includes enhanced codeshare and commercial cooperation.
Flights between Singapore and both Frankfurt and Munich, as well as flights between Singapore and Zurich, will be operated under revenue- sharing arrangements, SIA said in a release on Wednesday. This will be extended to flights to Düsseldorf, when SIA launches flights to the German city in July 2016.
