More uncertainty amid US polls, Brexit, vaccine issues
THE world is in for another week of uncertainty, unless there is a new twist in the tumultuous US presidential campaign or a breakthrough in vaccine development.
It is becoming difficult to count the number of crises facing the world economy and yet US stocks remain near record levels.
US stocks finished a highly volatile week more or less flat as stimulus talks, difficult Brexit negotiations, the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak and the presidential election all veered towards crisis levels.
