Firms that hire and train mid-career and older workers to get S$2 billion in govt help

A LOT is asked of employers in hiring and training more mid-career and older workers in Budget 2020, but they will receive fair support - to the tune of around S$2.0 billion in total, Manpower Minister Josephine Teo has announced.
The Senior Worker Support Package (SWSP), a major initiative in this year's government budget, provides up to S$1.3 billion in support over three years from 2020 to 2022, she said.
