AS heightened distancing measures tighten the noose around tenants' necks, the Singapore Retailers Association (SRA) over the weekend appealed to landlords for rental support beyond rebates, echoing recent calls from other quarters.
The government has been stepping up distancing measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 and last Saturday, it urged the public to stay at home and avoid going to malls unless essential, dealing another blow to mall tenants already suffering from low footfall.
