Malaysia: Shares down at Friday's open

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.64 points to 1,671.06 at 9.01am.
Volume was 43.42 million lots worth RM13.51 million.
Gainers beat losers 56 to 53.
