New regional cybersecurity centre set up to counter threat of cyberattacks

Asean-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence will enable greater collaboration in the region

AMID the mounting threat of cyberattacks, Asean countries will collaborate more to bolster the region's defences against online threats through a new regional cybersecurity centre announced on Tuesday.

The Asean-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence was among the cybersecurity announcements Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean made at the opening of the Singapore International Cyber Week.
