ShareInvestor unveils news portal catered for Catalist-listed firms
INVESTORS bemoaning the lack of news coverage on Catalist-listed companies can now visit a new "one-stop platform" catered specifically for companies listed on the secondary board.
Investor-One, launched by investor relations company ShareInvestor in conjunction with Catalist's 10th anniversary, is a mobile-friendly news website running content exclusively for Catalist-listed companies.
It will feature, among other items, interviews with Catalist company CEOs, aggregated content from Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) publications and platforms, and educational articles from sponsors Prime Partners Corporate Finance and SAC Capital.
A section with an initial public offering (IPO) timer will be available, giving a countdown for companies going for IPO listing, together with recent IPOs and their performance
The portal will also carry the Singapore Exchange's industry and sectoral research and analyses, as well as the popular "kopi-C" series. The series features intimate profiles of Catalist company founders, meant to raise the corporate profiles and highlight the investment merits of Catalist companies.
Christopher Lee, ShareInvestor's CEO said: "To date, Catalist companies do not get much coverage in the mainstream media or from the research houses. Investor-One aims to change that. The portal's bite-sized content is also suitable in an age where most of us have a short attention span and want access to concise and quick information."
ShareInvestor is a subsidiary of the SPH, which also owns The Business Times.
