Europe: Stock markets drop at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets dipped at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.5 per cent at 6,158.72 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index lost almost 0.6 per cent to 9,893.26 points and the Paris CAC 40 shed 0.8 per cent to 4,425.84 compared with Friday's close.
