World in a structural slow-growth period, says economist

SLOW economic growth is here to stay due to slower world population growth, high debt, and ironically - the environment of cheap money, said an economist.
"Easing money is deflationary, not inflationary," Bob Baur, chief global economist of institutional asset manager Principal Global Investors, told The Business Times last week.
