Salesforce quarterly revenue beats Wall Street expectations

SALESFORCE.COM Inc reported higher-than-expected quarterly revenue and raised its full-year revenue forecast, saying customers were stepping up purchases of its web-based sales and marketing software despite economic uncertainty.
Shares of the world's largest maker of online sales software rose 7.2 per cent to US$67 in after-hours trading.
