US trade deficit widens to US$41.9b in May

[WASHINGTON] The US trade deficit widened modestly in May as exports fell more than imports, the Commerce Department reported Tuesday.
The trade gap increased to US$41.9 billion in May, up from a revised US$40.7 billion in April that was previously reported at US$40.9 billion.
