Interest in ETFs rising among Asia-Pac investors: Deutsche study

INVESTORS in the Asia-Pacific are warming to exchange-traded funds (ETFs), said Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (AWM), which did a survey among more than 100 institutions in the region.
ETFs' assets under management (AUM) in the Asia-Pacific rose 16 per cent between January and May to US$234 billion; nearly 93 per cent of these assets are invested in equity ETFs.
