Christmas - a time for giving
Charities were active in the past week as Christmas nears
Soft toy donations wanted from Food From The Heart
ORIGINAL stories were spun for children from Food From The Heart by local authors such as Adeline Foo, who wrote The Diary of Amos Lee series, and Melanie Lee who wrote Imaginary Friends; as well as DJs Vernetta Lopez, Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman over the weekend at Ikea Tampines for the "Christmas Stories at Ikea" event.
In addition, every soft toy donated into the 'Give Twice' box at the two Ikea outlets in Singapore will see Ikea match and give another to double the donation. The soft toys will be given out as birthday presents as part of FFTH's monthly birthday parties. On top of these, Ikea Singapore will make an additional S$2,000 donation to the charity.
