Veteran banker Rajan Raju joins StanChart
Bank appoints him as head of retail clients in Singapore to sharpen focus on key segment
HIGH-flying banker Rajan Raju will assume the role of head of retail clients in Singapore at Standard Chartered with effect from Thursday.
The bank announced the new appointment on Tuesday, saying the role was created after the reconfiguration of its global business early this year, to further sharpen the bank's focus on the key customer segment in Singapore.
Mr Raju, 48, will report to Neeraj Swaroop, chief executive officer of Standard Chartered Bank Singapore, as well as Sebastian Arcuri, the regional head of retail clients in Asean.
