Share issuance value continues to slide in Q3
2014 IPO value also hit by absence of Reit listings
[SINGAPORE] Equity fundraising remained in a slump during the third quarter as real estate investment trusts (Reits) kept to the sidelines, according to preliminary data from Thomson Reuters.
Proceeds raised in equity capital markets by Singapore-listed companies fell 14 per cent to US$4.4 billion in the third quarter as at Sept 26, according to Thomson Reuters.
It was also a 6 per cent slowdown from the US$4.7 billion raised in the second quarter of the year.
