Newspapers rank high as a source of local news: survey
[SINGAPORE] Newspapers are holding their own where local news is concerned, according to the Consumer Experience Study 2013 commissioned by the Media Development Authority (MDA).
The survey of 1,742 people last year found that 85 per cent of respondents picked newspapers as among their sources for Singapore-related news, up from 73 per cent during the last survey in 2011.
This put newspapers in second place, just behind free-to-air television.
