Singapore remains popular among Muslim travellers
Singapore
SINGAPORE seems to be a magnet for Muslim visitors, guarding its pole position for the third straight year as the choice destination among non-OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) countries in the Muslim travel segment that was worth US$155 billion in 2016, according to a latest report.
The city state can also boast of being the only non-OIC member to turn up on the top 10 overall hot spots for Muslim travellers although it fell to 10th place from eight a year ago, according to the Mastercard-CrescentRating annual Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) 2017.
