Hong Kong: Stocks end sharply higher
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rallied more than one per cent on Tuesday, building on the previous day's gains, following another record close on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 1.27 per cent, or 311.12 points, to 24,889.03 - its best close since mid-2015.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.06 per cent, or 1.91 points, to 3,080.53 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, climbed 0.66 per cent, or 12.05 points, to 1,847.64.
