Plenty of fizz factors left after Christmas holiday
IF you were expecting the Queen's Christmas Message, this is not it. Although it might as well be - because today is Christmas Day.
Exchanges around the world have drawn their shutters and traders are likely leaning back with a drink (or two) in hand. On Tuesday, markets in places such as Australia, Britain and Hong Kong will remain closed for Boxing Day.
Perhaps the most well-known holiday break is Big Four firm PwC's official shutdown from Dec 25 to New Year's Day.
