Trade talk posturing, Brexit to unnerve US markets again
US stocks endured another volatile week, edging down for their fifth straight weekly loss as indexes oscillated alongside expectations for the end of a trade war and a chaotic Brexit.
Those two issues will dominate market movements again during a holiday-shortened week (Memorial Day on May 27) with bit parts played by Federal Reserve speakers and minor economic data.
"It's the uncertainty," said Joe Kinahan, chief market strategist at TD Ameritrade.
