Relief for businesses is limited by design

THE latest relief measures on foreign worker levies and rents are meant as a targeted buffer during enforced business closures this month, analysts told The Business Times.
But even with April's "circuit breaker" set to expire on May 4, some called for aid to be extended as companies struggle with the financial fallout from a deadly viral pandemic.
