Europe: Stock markets steady at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets opened steadily on Thursday, with trading expected to be quiet amid the US Thanksgiving holiday.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index was flat at 6,337.88 points compared with Wednesday's closing level.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 edged up 0.1 per cent to 11,180.13 points and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.2 per cent to 4,884.35.
