Singapore shares open lower again on Thursday

AFTER weaker performances in the US and Europe, the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) slipped 0.75 per cent or 20.93 points to 2,752.14 in early trading on Thursday.
By 9.03 am, 30.2 million shares worth S$46.3 million had changed hands, with gainers trailing losers at 48 to 73.
Top gainers were Jardine Matheson, ST Engineering and SATS while top losers included Venture Corp, DBS and UOB.
