Malaysia shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.28 points to 1,729.86.
Volume was 41.13 million lots worth RM21.88 million.
Gainers beat losers 76 to 58.
