The 24th Singapore International Piano Festival runs through this weekend with some of the world's best pianists set to thrill classical music lovers with their virtuoso playing. On Saturday, Turkish pianist and composer Huseyin Sermet (pictured) will play Mendelssohn, Beethoven and Mussorgsky. His numerous recordings have won major international prizes. On Sunday, American classical pianist and conductor Stephen Kovacevich, a masterful interpreter and supremely expressive performer, takes on JS Bach, Schubert, Brahms and Beethoven.
