AFTER a slow start during the first two rounds of The Business Times Corporate Golf League 2015, Audi quattro is starting to get into some form, according to team captain and managing director of Audi Singapore Jeff Mannering. He cites the golf courses this year as part of the reason that the team likes most about the competition. "The quality golf courses and the opportunity to network with the other players - it's also why we return as the presenting sponsor for the League," he explains.

This year, Audi Singapore is sponsoring the latest Audi A6 1.8 TFSI ultra S tronic as the Hole-In-One prize for all six games. This is the latest executive sedan that was launched in May.

The team is currently in 11th position with 272 points, and Mr Mannering singles out two players who have made a valuable contribution. "Godfrey Robert, who is a first-timer on our team, played impressively. He hit 100 per cent on the fairway and 100 per cent straight. The other player is Raju Arivazagan. At the recent game at TMCC Tampines, Raju cleaned up the awards, including the overall winner of the game."
