LITTLE Ong might not have recorded a single note but he's been a core contributor to the local music scene for more than two decades.

As a photographer, he's shot "tens of thousands" of pictures of homegrown musicians performing live. A selection is currently on display at the exhibition So Happy: 50 Years Of Singapore Rock, which runs till April 17 at The Substation.

Conceived, organised, and curated by Ong, co-founder and creative director of fFurious, a local multi-disciplinary creative agency; the exhibition takes its name after a hit single from the 1990s by cult local indie pop band, The Oddfellows. The group reunited to perform on the opening night of the exhibition on Wednesday.
