IN the film world, the behind- the-scenes views can be found in the director's cuts or the out-take clips, but change the context in which a film is deconstructed, dissected and viewed - and a film can also be a medium in the visual art world.

The lines between film, art film, documentation and fine art are intriguingly blurred in the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art's (CCA) latest exhibition, Incidental Scripts, a major solo show of leading Chinese artist Yang Fudong's body of work of the past 20 years.

Because of the limited space, the exhibition only shows four key works - one of which is a full-length feature film - plus photographs that he took for a magazine commission.
