SGX fixing revamped website after complaints
SGXNet portal used for company announcements being upgraded
THE Singapore Exchange (SGX) is fixing user-unfriendly features of its widely used company announcements webpage, after a revamp that went live over the weekend caused frustration among users.
"We have taken steps to rectify a number of these issues to create a better experience for investors," said SGX's chief operations and technology officer Tim Utama in a letter to The Business Times yesterday.
After the fix, implemented late last night, users can search more easily for announcements made by real estate investment trusts (Reits) and business trusts, as was the case before the weekend changes. The page will also be made more readable.
